• Wrote linking script for a schools’ singing event (Time to Sing project) for Cheltenham Music Festival, summer 2008.
• Cheltenham Literature Festival: Commissioned for Words on Walkabout event, 2001. This involved walking around Cheltenham from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., writing about anything inspired by the walk, and performing the resulting 10-minute poem at 3 p.m. Since then, I have been commissioned as a railway poet (2002), poet in shoe shops (2003), litter poet (2004), poet in laundrettes (2005), betting shop poet (2006), poet in changing rooms (2007) and poet with families (2008).
• Gathered and wrote reminiscence material about the Gloucestershire floods
for Gloucestershire Libraries and Archives, September 2007.

• Commissioned to write poems for English and Danish football fans as
international friendly football match poet, in London and Copenhagen, August

• Published first collection of poems, Where edges meet, spring 2001;
second and third collections (Tightrope and Edgeways), summer 2005.
• Commissioned (2001) by Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum to write poems
connected with exhibits for use in a Big Book to be used by Outreach and Education
Department.
• Cheltenham Literature Festival: commissioned to write instant collaborative
poetry in different places around Cheltenham - poet in shoe shops (2003), litter
poet (2004), poet in laundrettes (2005), betting shop poet (2006) and poet in
changing rooms (2007).
